We have had a record number of organisations transfer their ISO certification to Auva in 2020, and the trend has continued into 2021.
This is why…
1) It’s free
The rule for all Accredited Certification Bodies is that you the client are not tied into any contracts with your current provider which means businesses are free to transfer their ISO certification at any time. While some certification bodies will charge you to transfer, we don’t, and we make sure the transfer is absolutely free and the process is simple.
2) Potentially huge cost savings
If you did your due diligence and reviewed the costs of other certification bodies, we would be confident that our pricing structures are very competitive, and in most cases you are likely to make big costs savings. Most of us each year use comparison websites to find cheaper insurance and home energy bills, however not many organisations check to see if they are at risk of overpaying for their ISO certifications. Business owners and senior management should consider insisting that their company representatives are carrying out due diligence to ensure that company funds are not being wasted.
It’s actually important for us that you understand how the pricing of audits work. This is why we make every effort to be transparent so businesses can spot when a certification body is either charging extremely high rates, or worse, under cutting audit days to get the business and risking your certification because they haven’t applied the rules correctly. We often write audit time calculation advisory articles about this issue, so please check this out and have a read. The rules are black and white, but some unscrupulous certification providers don’t always obey to them.
3) We are approachable, available and friendly
It’s so frustrating having a question you want a quick answer to, then having to spend an hour on the phone to speak to someone you have never dealt with before and doesn’t know your business. You then have to explain who you are, what certification you are referring to and finally you get to ask the question. At Auva, it is not like that. You have access to your auditor and the management at all times and you won’t have to go through a switchboard. They’ll know exactly who you are and will be helpful, objective, competent and consistent with any enquiry you have. Our strapline is ‘global reach, local touch’ for a reason. You can be assured that our experienced team have been asked every question under the sun about ISO certification, so don’t worry you can ask them anything. ISO standards can be confusing and difficult to get your head around. Our auditors have a high technical knowledge with the ability to explain the requirements in plain English!
4) UKAS accredited
Auva Certification Ltd is assessed to ISO 17021-1:2015 by The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) and has proven to meet strict requirements for providing audit and certification of management systems, and to deliver certification of management systems.
5) No additional expenses or hidden fees
No need to check the small print with Auva, there is none. We are up front and transparent with our quotations. Some certification bodies will charge for additional expenses such as travel time, management fees or application fees. We never charge hidden fees. You’ll always know what you are paying for, how much and when it’s due. No surprises.
6) We hold our prices for three years
Unlike many certification bodies who increase their prices year on year, we made the decision to hold our prices for three years. This way our clients know what costs they need to plan for, which helps cashflow and budgeting.
7) We invoice at the time of the assessment
This means you don’t pay up front. You may choose to transfer to us in the middle of your three year plan or immediately after an audit and this is no problem at all. Transfer to us for free and we won’t charge anything until your audit is due. We know this can be a big help for client’s cashflow! We even offer monthly payment plans.
8) You are never left without a certificate
Our certificate will reflect the original date of certification and you won’t return your current certificate until you receive ours and are happy with it. So, you are never left without a certificate – which you may need if you are bidding for work and need to show evidence of your ISO certification to meet requirements set by your clients.
Which standards can be transferred?
We offer third party certification audits to ISO 9001: Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001: Environmental Management Systems, and ISO 45001: Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
- ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems)
- ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems)
- ISO 45001 (Health and Safety Management Systems)
However, generally, any ISO standard which has been certified by an Accredited Certification Body whose accreditation is with a member of the IAF MLA, can be transferred. You can check these out here. There are other schemes which are not ISO standards such as AS9100, AS9120, AS9110 and IATF 16949 that are also transferrable.
If you would like a no obligation free quotation for the transfer of your certification then please complete this simple form and we will be able to provide you with a quotation, generally this is issued with 24 hours of receipt.
