We are proud to announce that CVC Components, BSL Express Spares and FEL Avionics have successfully transferred their ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems certification to Auva Certification! What an interesting group of companies to audit to this standard! All three companies are situated on a secure 40-acre site with 45000 sq ft purpose-built storage facilities. This is to house over 111 million obsolete, discontinued and hard to find electronic components used in production, service, spares and repairs – all ready to ship anywhere in the world!
CVC components is a worldwide partner for military, industrial and commercial spares, FEL Avionics is the world’s largest stockist of BAE Plessey radar spares and BSL Express Spares has been operating for 75 years! It was originally incorporated in 1946 to dispose of surplus components after WWII.
Working across the naval, aviation, radar, industrial, MOD and defence sectors, the companies also work with many Governments from across the world.
Saima Khan, Commercial Director at CVC Components said: “We have daily inquiries for inventory that need a quick turnaround and we also bid on tenders which a lot of the time requires us to source using technical specifications. Therefore, our processes and procedures are incredibly organised and time effective! With so much stock to manage (and growing), we often work to urgent deadlines, across multiple currencies and fluctuations, arranging delivery costs, shipping and taxes, so ISO 9001 helps us to streamline our processes and identify any opportunities to improve it. We also offer reverse engineering solutions for long obsolete items that reduces substantial costs for our customers, so quality is a priority for our on-site team of engineers and TWT testing facility.”
“We are delighted to be working with Saima,” said Graham O’Geran business development director at Auva. With the ever-changing demands of her businesses, across so many different sectors, we are pleased that ISO certification helps to bring them real improvements in business processes and customer satisfaction.”
CVC Components specialise in (and stock) semiconductors, integrated circuits, connectors, resistors, capacitors, transistors, diodes, relays, circuit breakers, synchro motors, and NATO numbers.
