Auva Certification has been granted accreditation by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to audit and certify organisations in the aerospace industry to AS9100 Rev D quality management systems and AS9120 Rev B Aerospace requirements for stockist distributors. Following a rigorous accreditation process, Auva becomes one of only seven certification bodies in the UK to be able to certify organisations to these standards.
The aerospace industry is a high-risk sector, and regulatory control is needed to capture the requirements and the importance of safety, reliability or maintainability globally. AS9100 is the standard for organisations designing, developing, or providing aviation, space, and defence products and services. Part of the AS9100 family is the AS9120 certification for aerospace stockists and distributors of parts used within the aerospace and defence sector. Organisations that buy and sell parts or materials but perform no manufacturing can be certified to this standard.
